Grant Forrest moves into Morocco top 10

By COLIN FARQUHARSON
Former Walker Cup player Grant Forrest took over as the leading Scot in the MENA Tour's Royal Golf Mohammedia Open with a three-under-par second round of 68 for a 36-hole tally of two-under 140 at Royal Golf D'Anfa in Morocco.

Forrest, pictured, a past Scottish amateur champion had five birdies and two bogeys in halves of 35-33.
He is the only Scot seemingly with a chance of catching English leader Lee Corfield (66-70 for 136) who has a two-stroke advantage at the head of a field of 130 with one round to go.
Jack McDonald from Troon and Jamie S Savage of Cawder are sharing 42nd place on 146. Both players have scored 72-74.
Jack Doherty from Glasgow is T51 on 147 after rounds of 77 and 70.
Dunbar's Danny Kay (74-74) and Aberdonian Clarke Lutton (73-75) are joint 58th on 148.
Rookie pro Daniel Hendry from Dubai, in what is only his second event since leaving the amateur ranks, has scored 77-72 for 149 and a share of 71st place.
