LORETTO WIN ISGA HOME INTERNATIONALS TITLE FOR SCOTLAND

Scotland, represented by Loretto School, won the International Schools Golf Association (ISGA) Home Internationals title at Craigielaw and Archerfield over the weekend. It was Loretto's fifth success in the Independent Schools GA tournament against England, Ireland and Wales.
Trailing England by two shots at the start of the second day, the Loretto team of three boys (Harry Austin, Lou Tan and Yannick Artigolle) and one girl (Caroline Zolg) made up the leeway with a second-round total of 223 to England's 231.
The Scots' final total was 445 - six better than runners-up England. 
Loretto's leading performer was Harry Austin who won the best individual trophy with a three-over par total for the 36 holes. He finished one shot ahead of Lou Tan.
The format was two rounds of stroke-play and the final totals were:
445 Scotland (Loretto School) 222 223
451 England (Wellington College) 220 231
483 Ireland (Campbell College) 236 247
520 Wales (Rydal Penrhos) 250 270.
