EWAN WHEAT WINS ANGUS BOYS' COMPETITION AT WINDY MONIFIETH

Ewan Wheat (Royal Montrose) won an Angus County competition for boys in the main development coaching squad at a very windy Monifieth Ashludie course today (Sunday).
The wind was so strong that the event was reduced to 13 holes.
Wheat won with 26pt.
Local player Monty Montieth had the best net total of 30pt.
The winning team comprised of Robbie Millar (Carnoustie), Finn Coull (Royal Montrose) and Reece Kerrigan (Kirriemir) with a total of 74pt.
