Australian's eagle at 16th puts him ahead to win Arnold Palmer Invitational

Australian Marc Leishman surged past American front-runners Kevin Kisner and Charley Hoffman over the final few holes to snatch a one-stroke victory in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Golf and Country Club today.
Leishman had rounds of 71, 66, 71 and 69 for an 11-under-par total of 277.
Joint runners-up on 278 were Kisner with scores of 70, 67, 68 and 73, and Hoffman 68, 66, 71 and 73.
Rory McIlroy, helped tremendously by a third-round 65, finished joint fourth with Englishman Tyrrell Hatton (72-69-67-71) on 279.

ORLANDO, Florida -- Marc Leishman holed a 50-foot eagle putt on the 16th hole to take the lead, and he stayed there with two tough pars to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard.
Leishman's pitch from 45 yards short of the 18th green rolled out to 3 feet, and he made the par putt for a 3-under 69. It was his second career win on the US PGA Tour.
Kevin Kisner had a three-shot lead at the turn, but he didn't make a birdie over his final 11 holes.
Rory McIlroy made a late charge and tied for the lead with a wild birdie around a tree and over the water on the 16th hole, only to three-putt the final hole from 30 feet.
It was the first Arnold Palmer Invitational since Palmer passed away last September.
