SCOTLAND v ENGLAND FOR HOME
INTERNATIONALS TITLE

It's Scotland v England for the title at Co Louth Golf Club, Ireland on Friday.
Scotland, seeking to win the home internationals championship for a third year in a row, produced another stirring performance to edge an 8-7 victory over Wales.
England also moved up to the 1 1/2pt mark by beating Ireland 8 1/2-6 1/2.
The Scots took the foursomes 3 1/2-1 1/2 from Wales who closed the gap by winning three of the top afternoon singles.
But victories from Scott Henry - hitting form at the best time of the season as far as Scotland are concerned, James Byrne, Callum Macaulay and Wallace Booth boosted Scotland to the 7 1/2pt mark with one match still to finish.
It looked as if Scotland might have to settle for a draw for the second day in a row as Kevin McAlpine was one down on the 18th tee to Jamie Howie. However, the Alyth man, holder of the Scottish open amateur stroke-play title, won the last hole to get the precious half-point for Scotland to win 8-7.
Scotland beat England in the play-off for third place at the European men's amateur team championship at Western Gailes a couple of months ago.
