ROYAL ABERDEEN CLINCH ABERDEEN PENNANT
LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL PLACE

Royal Aberdeen clinched a place in the Ritson Smith Aberdeen & District Pennant League semi-finals by beating Northern 3 1/2-2 1/2 at the Kings Links in their final League B match.
The Balgownie men completed their sectional programme with 12pt from seven games (six wins, one defeat) and have leapfrogged over Murcar Links to take over the No 1 spot in League B. Murcar Links finished their programme with 10pt from seven games (five wins, two defeats).
Portlethen, the other team in the top of the table shake-up, complete their League B ties on Thursday with a away match against Peterculter.
If Portlethen win they would have 11pt from seven games and would push Murcar Links down into third place - and out of a place in the semi-finals.
