From Editor:
Scroll down, if you have not read it already, to the report from the USGA website on how Tom Watson conducted himself over the final round of the US Seniors Open in which everything went drastically wrong for the long-time leader.
Here is the latest comment from one of our viewers

From Davie McIntosh:

Enjoyed the article about Tom Watson's final round at Whistling Straits in the US Seniors Open - and the way he held himself together.
Wouldn't it be nice if, probably our best ever Scottish golfer, Mr Montgomerie, had half his class? Of course it was all smiles at the European Open in Ireland on Sunday-because he won.
I've never seen a golfer with such a pathetic baby-like attitude on and off (the 18th) course. I try and support him to win that illusive major but until he learns to control his inner anger, he simply hasn't got the head for it. A pity, because his hands are so talented.

From Jim MacManus:

I could not agree more with David McIntosh. Big Colin has all the ability to win a Major but he never will until he gets his head right and no longer hears the butterflies that make him back-off when the pressure is on.
Acting like a spoiled baby does him no favours with the gallery and even his supporters are getting brassed off watching him with his bottom lip going down when he misses a putt.
From Garry Campbell:
Tom Watson is class on and off the golf course, I totally agree.
Give Monty a chance. A large majority of winners have attitude. That's what makes them winners.
Let's get behind him at Carnoustie.
