DOAK EARNS 2080 EUROS FOR JT 13TH FINISH
ON EURO CHALLENGE TOUR IN FRANCE

Chris Doak earned 2080 Euros for a joint 13th place finish in the weather-hit AGF Allianz Open - the latest European Challenge Tour event - which did not finish at Golf des Volcans until today because the leaders were not able to complete their fourth rounds on Sunday.
Doak, a former Tartan Tour Order of Merit winner and past Northern Open champion, did manage to complete his rounds of 72, 72, 74 and 69 for 287 on Sunday and he would have been able to head home if he wanted.
New Zealander Gareth Paddison could not until he had played the last two or three holes this morning to win the event with an 11-under-par total of 273 and pick up the Euros 20,800 first prize for rounds of 70, 69, 68 and 66.
The Kiwi won by six strokes from Sweden's Leif Westerberg who earned 14,300 Euros for 75, 68, 68 and 68 for 279.
Englishman Chris Gane and Oliver Whiteley tied for third place on 282. Gane's rounds were 71, 75, 67 and 69, Whiteley 72, 70, 70 and 70. Each earned Euros 8,450.

The only other Scot to play the full 72 holes, Edward Thomson from Largs, finished last but one in jt 60th place on 302 with scores of 78, 71, 78 and 75. He took home a cheque for 409 Euros.
