Former Scottish youths champion Martin Laird from Glasgow earned his second biggest cheque on the US Nationwide Tour on Sunday.
He finished joint fifth in the Legend Financial Group Classic at Stonewater Golf Club with rounds of 67, 68, 72 and 66 for an 11-under-par total of 273 - five shots behind the winner - to collect $18,440.
That boosted his season's earnings to $144,691 and saw him improve from 14th to 11th on the Nationwide Tour money list.
It was 24-year-old Laird's second top-10 finish of the season. He received $90,000 for winning the Athens Regional Foundation Classic in May.
