KOREAN WINS LPGA TOUR PLAY-OFF

Korea's Mi Hyun Kim beat American veteran Juli Inkster in a sudden death play-off to win the LPGA's SemGroup Championship at Cedar Ridge Country Club, Broken Arrow in Oklahoma.
The Korean had scores of 71, 68 and 71 to Jul's scores of 71, 70 and 69. The difference between winning and finishing second was substantial. Mi Hyun Kim collected $210,000, Juli Inkster $127,000.
Catriona Matthew and Laura Davies tied for 55th place on 220. Catriona scored 75, 71 and 74; Laura 74, 73 and 73. They both earned $3,832.
Janice Moodie scored 76, 70 and 76 to fill joint 68th place on 222. She won $2,863.
Mhairi McKay missed the 36-hole cut with a pair of 76s for 152.
