O'NEIL LEADING SCOT AT HALFWAY
ON ALGARVE

Conor O'Neil was the leading Scot in a share of eighth place at the end of today's (SUN) first round in the Algarve Pro Tour's 360-hole Quinta de Cima Classic at Quinta da Ria golf course.
O'Neil shot a two-under-par 70 to be six strokes behind the leader by three, England's Will Enefer with an eight-under 64.
Chris Doak had a 71 for a share of 16th place while a third Scots pro, Jonathan Mullaney, had a 74 for joint 30th place at the halfway stage.
Scottish amateur Lewis Reid, who had a 78, is joint 50th in a field of 72 players.
