Barrie, Chisholm and Taylor tie for Senior
victory at Stirling
The third of this year's Scottish Senior Golfing Society winter events was played at Stirling which was in excellent condition after last week's heavy rain and credit must go to the greenstaff for all their efforts.
The conditions were tough with a cold wind and the scoring was good with three players sharing first place with 40 Stableford - George Barrie (Callander), Neish Chisholm (Kemnay) and David Taylor (Dunfermline).
Neil McGarva (Kilmalcolm) and John Gullen (Tillicoultry) were close behind on 39pts.
