Penge one up after 18 holes against Davidson
Marco Penge (Goodwood) is one up after the first 18 holes of the Spanish men's amateur championship final against Welshman Jack Davidson (Llanwern), the last of the 32 match-play qualifiers who KO'd top Scot, Stirling student Chris Maclean, in the first round at El Saler, Valencia.
In the Spanish women's final, also over 36 holes but being played at Sherry Golf, Jerez near Cadiz, Sweden's Frida Kinhult is one up after 19 holes against Alessia Nobilio (Italy).
