Duncan and Robb in the mix at Casablanca

By COLIN FARQUHARSON

Kevin Duncan (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) and Chris Robb (Meldrum House) have made very good starts to the Pro Golf Tour's Casa Green Open at Casablanca, Morocco.
Duncan shot a bogey-free six-under-par 66 to be sharing second place in a field of 107 players, only one behind the Dutch leader, Dylan Boshart.
Duncan birdied the third, sixth, eighth, 12th, 13th and 17th in halves of 33.
Former Scottish amateur champion Robb is tied for sixth place on 67. He could have been sharing the first-round lead but for a double bogey 6 at the 10th, the only blemish on his card which saw him birdie the fourth, sixth, 11th, 12th, 15th, 16th and 17th .
Alexander Culverwell, also a past Scottish amateur title-holder, is T22 after a 70.
Sam Kiloh, Philip McLean and Ross Cameron are all sharing 70th place on 73.
