Young in Egypt top 10 after starting with a 67

Daniel Young from Perth had an eagle and four birdies in compiling a five-under-par 67 to be in joint eighth position in a field of 116 players at the end of the first round of the Alps Tour's Ein Bay Open at Sokhna Golf Club, Egypt today.
He is three shots behind the French leader, Julien Brun.
Jack McDonald and Ewen Ferguson are joint 42nd on one-under 71.
A lesser known Scot, Joe Knox, had a 76 for a share of 90th place.
Jamie Savage had a disappointing day with a six-over 78 to be T106.
