Three Scots make the cut in Egypt

Scots Daniel Young, Jack McDonald and Ewen Ferguson qualified for the third and final round of the Alps Tour's Ein Bay Open at Sokhna Golf Club, Egypt today (Wed).
Young and McDonald are joint 11th on 138, Young having rounds of 67 and 71, McDonald 71 and 67, his second round including seven birdies including the 16th, 17th and 18th holes.
Ferguson is tied 18th on 140 with rounds of 71 and 69.
Frenchman Alexandre Daydou leads the field by two strokes with a pair of 66s for 12-under-par 132.
Jamie Savage (78-74 for 152) and Joe Knox (76-80 for 156) missed the cut at 143.
