 Gemma and Michele finish outside top

 20 in Australia

North-east professionals Gemma Dryburgh (146) and Michele Thomson (151) finished joint 24th and 43rd respectively in a field of 84 players at the 36-hole Pennant Hills women's pro-am at the Sydney, Australia venue today (Fri).
Aberdeen-born, Beaconsfield-based Dryburgh had rounds of 76 and 70 for a T24 finish which earned her 248 Australian $.
Ellon's Thomson (Meldrum House) shot 78-73 and finished out of the prizemoney.
Two Australians on eight-under 138 played off for the 4,500 Australian $ first prize with Hannah Green (68-70) beating Whitney Hillier.
England's Felicity Johnson (69-70) finished a shot behind in third place and earned 2,250 Australian $.
