Ross Cameron slumps to T14 finish behind

Frenchman Subregis at Red Sea Classic

Peterhead's Ross Cameron killed off his hopes of winning the Pro Golf Tour's Red Sea Egyptian Classic at Sokhna Golf Club, near Cairo with a third-round 76 which dropped him from a shot off the second-round lead to a share of 14th place on 213, eight shots behind the fast-finishing French winner, Kenny Subregis (66 for 205).
Portugal's Pedro Figueiredo (68-206) finished third.
Cameron had five bogeys before marking up his only birdie of the round at the par-5 17th.
Ellon's Kevin Duncan (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) marked time with a par 72 for a share of 17th place on 214.
Chris Robb (Kippie Lodge) from Banchory finished 20th after taking 41 shots for the inward half in struggling to a 75 for level par 216.
