SCOTS EARN £1,050 EACH ON JAMEGA TOUR

CALLUM MACAULAY, ELLIOT SALTMAN

TIED FOR SECOND PLACE IN SPAIN

Callum Macaulay and Elliot Saltman earned £1,050 apiece after finishing in a three-way tie for second place in the Jamega Tour 36-hole event at the Jose Maria Olazabal-designed woodland course at La Monacilla on the Spanish side of the border with Portugal's Algarve.
Macaulay shot a pair of 71s for 142, a total Saltman achieved with a 70 and 72.
They and joint runner-up Ryan O'Neill (England) (71-71) finished two shots behind the £2,000 prize winner, David Dixon, 37, from Somerset, with scores of 72-68 for four-under 140 
Zack Saltman finished outwith the prizemoney in joint 11th place with rounds of 74-73 for 147.
Michael Stewart (70-80) and Scott Drummond (72-78) tied for 21st place on 150.
Bringing up the rear for the Scots was Lloyd Saltman with two lacklustre rounds of 79 and 81 for 16-over-par 160 and 42nd place among the 51 finishers.
