ABERDONIAN BIRDIES LAST TWO HOLES

DAVID LAW FINISHES THIRD IN EGYPT

David Law was the only one of the top four finishers not to break 70 in the final round of the Red Sea Egyptian Classic at Sokhna Golf Club, Ain El Sokhna.
The Aberdonian finished third on 208 with scores of 66, 70 and 72, birdieing the 17th and 18th to maintain that position ahead of England's strong-finishing Neil Raymond (69 for 210).
Law finished 11 shots behind the runaway winner Ken Benz from Switzerland who put together three excellent rounds of 65, 67 and 65 for a 19-under-par total of 297.
He won by 10 strokes from Daniel Wunsche (Germany) (71-70-66 for 207).
Law's Paul Lawrie Golf Centre stablemates, Jordan Findlay from Fraserburgh and Peterhead's Philip McLean finished joint 30th and 38th respectively.Finlay had scores of 72, 79 an d74 for 225, McLean 75, 77 and 76 for 228.
