ROSS KELLETT WINS 734 EUROS IN ALPS TOUR EVENT

Motherwell's Ross Kellett earned 734 Euros for a joint 23rd place finish in the weekend's Alps Tour event in France, the Open International de La Mirabelle d'Or.
Kellett shot 69, 70, 71 and 70 for a total of four-under par 280 - seven shots behind the two players who tied on 11-under 273, Xavier Poncelet (France) (66 76 67 64) and Jaime Camargo (Spain ) (67 65 69 72).
Poncelet won the sudden death play-off at the first extra hole.
