A pair of eagles ... it's the Flying Dutchman!

From Paul Symes, European Challenge Tour Press Officer
Rising star Wil Besseling of the Netherlands has targeted his second Challenge Tour victory after a blistering round of 64 shot him to the top of the leaderboard at the halfway stage of the Trophée du Golf Club de Genève.
Some stupendous strokeplay saw Besseling, the II Club Colombia Masters champion, move to 12 under par, two shots clear of Scotland’s Steven O’Hara, whose round of 66 was not to be sniffed at.
A pair of eagles were a mark of Besseling’s brilliance, as was his ability to combat the conditions at a rainswept Golf Club de Genève.
A win here would all but guarantee the flying Dutchman a card on next season’s European Tour, with Besseling hopeful his compatriots Taco Remkes and Inder van Weerelt – currently sixth and 38th in the Challenge Tour Rankings – can join him amongst the elite.
He said: “It would be great if all three of us could make it onto The European Tour, although I’m not thinking about that, because there’s still a long way to go. But I feel good at the moment – it’s been a while since my last win, and although I’ve had chances since Colombia, it hasn’t quite happened. I’d love it to happen this week – if not, then I’m sure I’ll get other opportunities, because my game’s in good shape at the minute.”
The same applies to O’Hara, who consigned his putting woes to history with another sound showing on the greens en route to a round of 66. Also challenging is overnight leader Richard Bland of England, who recovered from a wobbly start – bogeying his first two holes – to sign for a round of 70 which moved him to nine under par alongside Australia’s Andrew Tampion.
