SCOTTISH SENIORS ADD MATCH-PLAY
CHAMPIONSHIP TO 2008 FIXTURES

The Scottish Seniors Golfing Society has added another new event to its programme for 2008. It is a match-play championship, restricted to male amateurs over the age of 55 and with a maximum handicap of nine. It will be hosted by Drumpellier Golf Club from August 25 to 29.
In 2009, Newmachar Golf Club will host this seniors' match-play tournament.
The Scottish Seniors Golfing Society now has nine events, including its Order of Merit Finals Day at Blairgowie, on its 2008 calendar.

May 20-22: SGU Scottish Seniors Open (Elgin).
June 12-13: Central Scotland Seniors Open (Stirling).
June 19-20: East of Scotland Seniors Open (Monifieth).
July 10-11: South of Scotland Seniors Open (Dumfries & County).
July 17-18: North of Scotland Seniors Open (Nairn Dunbar).
August 21-22: West of Scotland Seniors Open (Hamilton).
August 25-29: Scottish seniors match-play championship (Drumpellier).
September 2: SSGS Order of Merit Finals Day (Blairgowrie).
September 18: SSGS inter-county team championship (Cardross).
