KING OF CLUBS IS THE ACE IN THE PACK
Dean Davis will perform daily freestyle golf shows at the inaugural The Golf Show, NEC Birmingham 2007, in November.
Known as the ‘King of Clubs’, Davis is a member of the Freestyle Golf Roadshow, a 12-strong group of professionals who specialise in outrageous golf shots, with equally outrageous equipment.
Davis has performed his ‘show’ and wowed spectators and fellow pros at European Tour tournaments, numerous charity and corporate events and two World Trickshot Championships. And now he’s bringing it to the biggest venue yet: the National Exhibition Centre.
He said: “Obviously it’s going to be a little different for me indoors; it will be more intimate, although the crowd will be quite large I would imagine. Also the spectators will get more of a close-up view of what is happening.
“Being that close to the crowd is great for me as I enjoy the interaction with people. I’m really looking forward to the golf show – if it’s as good as its sister event in London it will be well worth attending.”
Davis will be performing one show a day for the duration of the three-day event which runs from November 16-18.
