THREE SHARE HONOURS ON 67 IN JACK STEVEN
TESTIMONIAL PRO-AM AT KILLERMONT

Glasgow Golf Club's long-serving club professional Jack Steven retires at the end of the year after 37 years' sterling service.
It was rather appropriate that today's Jack Steven Testimonial pro-am over the Killermont course was won, jointly, by John Greaves who will succeed Jack at the Glasgow club.
Greaves, Nick Walton (Billingham) and Mark King (Kingsfield) tied for individual honours on three-under-par 67.
They finished one stroke ahead of David Scott (Douglas Park) and Jim McKinnon (Irvine).
Robert Collinson (Bearsden Golf Range) led three youngsters - Sandy Watson (handicap 18), Chris McManus (3) and Alastair Thomson (5) to victory in the team event with a net two-ball score of 19-under-par 121.
They won by two strokes the amateur trio piloted by former Walker Cup player Lorne Kelly (Dream Team USA) - Bobby Burns (7), John MacMillan (13) and Allan Herron (16).
