FIFE BOYS RETAIN GARY HARVEY TROPHY

Fife boys' team retained the Gary Harvey Trophy in the annual inter-area Under-18s quadrangular contest at Braehead Golf Club over the weekend.
Fife completed a hat-trick of wins against the other teams by beating Perth & Kinross 5-3 in the title decider today .
Fife finished with three wins out of three. Perth & Kinross were runners-up with one win and one draw. Clackmannan were third with one win and Angus fourth with one halved match.
The trophy was originally donated in honour of Gary Harvey's British boys' championship success in 1972.
