SCOTS CHASING DOLLARS ON HOOTERS' TOUR
Joel Hendry from Elgin and Glasgow's Scott Jamieson were lying joint 23rd and 46th respectively after three rounds of the NGA Hooters' Tour event, the Michelob Ultra Classic, at River Hills Golf & Country Club course (6,928yd, par 72), Little River, South Carolina.
Hendry has had rounds of 72, 70 and 73 for one-under-par 215. Joel had birdies at the first, third, seventh, ninth and 11th but a double bogey 6 at the fourth.
Jamieson made the halfway cut with one shot to spare and has scored 72, 74 and 72 for 218. Scott has had a double-bogey 6 in each of his rounds so far - at the 14th in the first round, the fifth in the second round and the 16th in round three. He has also had 14 birdies.
Americans Emmet Turner and Andrew Medley lead the field by three strokes at 10-under-par 206. Turner has shot 69-71-66, Medley 68-72-66.
