Kerr Investments' 36-hole Classic

GRAY AND ARNOTT SHARE LEAD ON
65 AT DUMFRIES & GALLOWAY

Hayston's Steven Gray and Robert Arnott (Bishoipbriggs Golf Range) shared the lead on five-under-par 65 at the halfway stage of the Kerr Investments' Classic over 36 holes at Dumfries & Galloway Golf Club.
Gray had four birdies in a row from the fifth to the eighth in an outward four-under-par 32 before he sandwiched his solitary bogey at the 12th between birdies at the 11th and 18th in an inward 33.
Late finisher Arnott had a blemish-free card with birdfies at the first, fifth, sixth, 16th and 18 in halves of 33 and 32.
New Scottish professional champion Mark Loftus snuggled up behind them overnight on 66, thanks to covering the last seven holes in five under par with birdies at the 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th and 18th.
