SCOTS WHO DID WELL IN BRITISH SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

























PATRICK TOMISSON (Nairn), left), and JOHN FRASER (Royal Burgess), who finished joint 11th and tied 13th respectively from a starting field of more than 250 for the British senior men's open amateur championship at Nairn and Nairn Dunbar golf clubs.
The leading Scot was Gordon Brown (Vale of Leven). He had the best last-round score of 67 for 217 to finish joint seventh.

Didn't they do well?
