YOUTH CAPS DOWN THE HILVERSUM FIELD
Scotland youth caps Philip McLean (Peterhead) and Robert McKnight (Kilmarnock Barassie) were lying joint 63rd and tied 86th respectively after the second round of the Hilversum Open professional golf tournament at Hilversum Golf Club in the Netherlands.
Philip had rounds of 75 and 77 for 152, Robert 77 and 78 for 155.
Former Northern Open champion Peter Smith, who is now the club pro at Hilversum, was in joint 24th place with scores of 75 and 71 for 146,.
Jurrian Van der Vaart led the field at eight under par 136 with 64 and 72.
