GRAHAM FOX WINS AT MELDRUM HOUSE

Graham Fox from West Kilbride won the top prize of £696 in the Meldrum House Young Professionals' pro-am today. Graham birdied the first, second, fifth, 11th, 13th and 18th and had only one bogey, at the seventh, in heading the field with a five-under-par 65.
He had two strokes to spare from James McGhee (Turnhouse) and David Orr (East Renfrewshire).
Sean O'Donnell (Balbirnie Park) steered the Stena Drilling team of Davie Coutts (handicap 16), Alan Findlay (8) and Neil Hardie (10) to victory in the team event with a net score of 16-under-par 54.
