ESSON v EDMOND RESUME AT THE 21st
IN JAFFREY CUP SEMI-FINAL
Portlethen's Gary Esson and Barrie Edmond (Bon Accord) will resume their Jaffrey Cup semi-final tie at 4.30pm tomorrow at Portlethen Golf Club after darkness halted play tonight with the match still all square after 20 holes.
The other semi-final also went to the 20th but it did finish at the second extra hole with Bryan Innes (Murcar Links) the winner over Mark Halliday (Royal Aberdeen).
The tee off time for the final, originally set for 5.15pm, will depend on how quickly the Esson v Edmond tie is resolved.
The Jaffrey Cup is the North-east District's official match-play championship, featuring the four players with the lowest individual aggregates in Sunday's Journal Cup team competition.
