PHILIP McLEAN JOINT 49TH IN HOLLAND

Peterhead's Philip McLean finished joint 49th in the Hilversum Open professional tournament at Hilversum Golf Club, Holland.
The Scotland youth cap had rounds of 75, 77, 70 and 79 for a total of 301.
Former Northern Open champion and past Murcar Golf Club professional, Peter Smith, who is now the Hilversum club pro, finished joint 31st on 296 with scores of 75, 71, 73 and 77.
Robert McKnight (Kilmarnock Barassie), the second young player sent by the Scottish Golf Union to play in the event, did not survive the halfway cut.
Robin Swane was the winner with 12-under-par 276, made up of rounds of 69, 69, 68 and 70.
He won by two shots from Floris De Vriews with Tim Sluitere third on 280.
