US amateur champion Richie Ramsay (Royal Aberdeen) is "doubly engaged" - to use a horse racing term - next week, i.e. he is down to play in not one but two championships.
He is, of course, one of the seeds for the Allied Surveyors Scottish men's amateur match-play championship that starts at Prestwick Golf Club on Monday and runs through to the 36-hole final on the Saturday.
If you go on to the European Tour website, you will find that Richie is also one of the eight sponsors' invitations - the only amateur one - for the Russian Open at Le Meridien Moscow Golf Club. It tees off next Thursday and the 72-hole tournament ends a week on Sunday.
Which one is Richie going to play in?
We'll just have to wait and see.
