BRISTOL BOY LEADS BY TWO IN CARRIS TROPHY

Chris Lloyd, a 15-year-old from Bristol, has a two-stroke lead at the halfway mark of the English Under-18 boys' open stroke-play championship for the Carris Trophy at Saunton Golf Club, Devon.
Lloyd has put together a pair of 69s over the par-71 course for a four-under-par tally of 138.
He leads from Matt Haines from Kent with overnight leader Adam Wills now in third place.
Lloyds’ luck was that he was a late starter, going out when the morning rain had been blown away and replaced by a strong breeze.
