JOINT SIXTH KELLETT TOP SCOT IN BIARRITZ CUP

Motherwell's Ross Kellett, who had a third-round, seven-under-par 62, finished joint sixth in a field of field of more than 150 for the Sofitel Biarritz Cup at Biarritz Golf Club in southwest France at the weekend.
Ross's rounds were 69, 70, 62 and 71 for a four-under-par total of 272 - six shots behind the Spanish winner, Jorge Campillo, who reached the quarter-finals of the British amateur championship earlier this eason.
Gordon Yates (Hilton Park) and Gavin Dear (Murrayshall) were among a big group who tied for 39th place on six-over 282.
Gordon scored 70, 69, 74 and 69 while Gavin, who was one of the leaders after opening with rounds of 65 and 69, added weekend scores of 70 and 78.
