SCOTS DOWN THE FIELD IN EURO CHALLENGE
TOUR EVENT IN AUSTRIA

Scots George Murray and Scott Jamieson earned 637 Euros apiece for finishing joint 45th in the European Challenge Tour event, the MAN NO Open at Adamstal Golf Club, Ramsau in Austria today.
Former Scottish amateur champion Murray from Anstruther had rounds of 71, 70, 73 and 74 for an eight-over-par total of 288 over a par-71 course measuring 6,476yd.
Rookie Jamieson , from Glasgow, who has been campaigning successfully on the Hooters Tour in America, finished on the same mark with scores of 69, 71, 73 and 75.
A second past Scottish amateur champion, Andrew McArthur (Windyhill) missed the halfway cut by one shot with scores of 70 and 73 for 143.
Denmark’s Anders Schmidt Hansen claimed his maiden title and the first prize of 20,800 Euros (£14,097) by three shots with an 11-under-par aggregate of 269.
Zane Scotland (England) was runner-up on 272.
