COWGLEN PLAYERS DOMINATE GLASGOW GOLF
UNION STROKE-PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP


Cowglen Golf Club players stole the show over their home course today (Sunday) when they finished 1-2-3 in the Glasgow Golf Union stroke-play golf championship and won the team event as well.
Frank Drum produced an excellent second round of four-under-par 65 for a total of level par 138 to win the title from Cowglen clubmates Neil McBride and Les McLaughlin on 140.
Cowglen (274) won the team event by 12 shots from their nearest rivals, Cawder.
