THREE SHARE LEAD ON 71 IN START OF NEW
SCOTTISH SENIORS CIRCUIT AT STIRLING

Three players – Peter Lamb (Biggar), Hamilton’s Harry Milligan and George Rodaks (Moffat) – share the halfway lead in the Central Scotland seniors open stroke-play tournament at Stirling Golf Club, the first event of a new national circuit for the over-55 senior amateur golfer in Scotland.
Lamb, Milligan and Kodaks all scored 71 to lead by one shot from Robert Gill (Gerrards Cross) with five players sharing third place on 73 in a highly-competitive field of 100.
Gordon MacDonald (Callander), the Spanish seniors open champion and a past winner of the Scottish seniors title, is one of the driving forces behind the new tour. He had a first-round 76.
