NIGEL EDWARDS WINS DUNCAN PUTTER
FOR THIRD TIME AT SOUTHERNDOWN


Welsh Walker Cup player Nigel Edwards (Whitchurch Golf Club, Cardiff) won the Duncan Putter - one of the leading 72-hole open tournaments on the golfing calendar - for a third time at Southerndown Golf Club, Bridgend, Wales on Sunday.
Nigel had rounds of 69, 68, 72 and 73 for 279 to win the tile by a single shot from Welsh international team-mate Craig Evans (West Monmouthshire).
