WALLACE BOOTH JOINT 26TH IN

Former Scottish youths champion Wallace Booth from Comrie, coming up to the end of his fourth and final year as a golf scholarship student at Augusta State University, finished joint 26th in a field of 81 players for the Courtyard by Marriott Inter-Collegiate tournament at Devil's Ridge Golf Club, Hollysprings in South Carolina at the weekend.

Wallace had rounds of 71, 75 and 73 for a three-over-par total of 219 over the par-72, 6,854yd course.The winner was Mitch Cohlmia (Tulsa) with 72, 64 and 72 for seven-under-par 209.Augusta State (873) finished seventh in the team event behind Charlotte (852).
