VIKKI MISSES FUTURES CUT BY ONE SHOT
Vikki Laing missed the second-round cut by one stroke in the Duramed Future's Tour $80,000 The Power of a Dream Classic at the 6,226yd, par-71 The Trails of Frisco Golf Club event on Sunday.
Allison Fouch from Grand Rapids, Michigan maintained her overnight lead to win the $11,200 first prize with rounds of 68, 72 and 72 for one-under-par 212.
She won by one shot from Mexico's Violeta Retamaza who scored 73, 73 and 67 to win $8,000.
Lisa Hall from Stoke on Trent finished on 221 (74-75-72) to win $880.
Another English-born player, Samantha Head from Bedford earned $550 for scores of 73, 79 and 75 for 227.
