GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Mississippi University senior-year student golfer Callum Macaulay from has been named the South-East Conference Golfer of the Week for his outstanding performance at the Palisades Collegiate Golf Classic. This is the first such honor for Macaulay.
The Scot from Kincardine, a member at Tulliallan Golf Club, recorded his best 54-hole tournament finish with the Rebels, finishing joint second, just two strokes behind winner Brad Benjamin of Memphis. He carded a 71-68-70—209 to tie with Dawie VanDerWalt of Lamar, who is ranked No. 9 in the US college circuit.
Macaulay’s second place showing marks his sixth top-five finish of the year.
