CLACKMANNAN, P & K WIN PROVAN SALVER TIES

Defending champions Clackmannan beat Angus 5-3 today (Sunday) at Tulliallan Golf Club in the second series of ties in this year’s Provan Salver men’s inter-area golf competition which also involves Fife and Perth & Kinross.
Clackmannan were held to a 4-4 draw at Blairgowrie in their opening tie against Perth & Kinross.
In the other Provan Salver tie today, Perth & Kinross beat Fife 4 ½-3 ½ at Craigie Hill Golf Club.
