PRIZE AT BATHGATE PRO-AM
Douglas Park professional David B Scott won the top prize of £1,353 with a seven-under-par 64 in the Verichrome Bathgate Golf Club pro-am today.
David birdied the first, fifth, seventh, eighth, 12th, 13th, 15th and 16th with a solitary bogey at the 11th in halves of 32.
He won by one stroke from Sandy Strachan (Bathgate).
David Scott landed a double whammy by leading the Livingston Precision Engineering amateur trio of Gordon Connell (handicap 19), Paul Gill (16) and Derek Kain (14) to victory in the team event with a 19-under-par net score of 52.
