 RHIND LETS IT SLIP ON LAST NINE

Lee Rhind from Livingston finished joint 13^th in the Tight Lies Tour’s Stonebridge Open at Bossier City, Louisiana on Sunday.

Rhind, 27, had rounds of 71, 69, 68 and 71 for a total of nine-under-par 279.

He birdied the first, third, fourth, seventh and eighth with only one bogey, at the second, in improving to 13 under par for the tournament with 10 holes to play. At that point he was within striking distance of back-to-back wins on the Tight Lies Tour.

But Lee then bogeyed the ninth, 12^th, 13^th and 16^th before adding a final birdie at the 18^th.

Winner by three shots was American Alan Weant with 17-under-par 271, made up of 70, 68, 68 and 65.
