Scottish men's amateur stroke-play champion Scott Henry headlines a strong
The 19- year- old, who had to retire after only eight holes in the Scottish youths championship last Friday at Mortonhall, secured his first senior title at Craigielaw at the beginning of the month to underline his reputation as one of the country’s hottest young golfing talents.

Former British boys champion Jordan Findlay is one of two American university students in the team of six. Findlay from Fraserburgh has completed one year of a four-year golf scholarship at East Tennessee State University.
Russell Knox (Inverness) had a great season for Jacksonville University, Florida and was ranked No 10 in the Golf Stat Cup ratings at the end of the 2005-2006 US college season.
Team captain, and former Walker Cup star Barclay Howard is confident that his side can mount a serious challenge. He said: “We have a strong team with a number of extremely talented individuals. More importantly though, they are able to perform well as part of a team.
“I have been lucky enough to be part of winning side in the Walker Cup and I know what a great experience it can be to share success as a team.
