Top senior seeds Robson and Logie advance


to last 16 at  Alyth

Top seed Nick Robson (Meldrum House) and second seed David Logie (Craigie Hill) are both safely through to the last 16 of the Scottish Seniors Golfing Society Match-play championship at Alyth. 
Robson defeated Ricky Gray (Rowallan Castle) 7 and 6, while Logie beat Gerry Curran (Mortonhall) by a 5 and 4 margin. 
Third seed Grant McNab (Lundin) was knocked out by last year's runner-up, Duncan Hamilton (Mortonhall). 
 Nick Robson will now play Albert Smith (Turriff) in an all North- east match.
The second round and quarter-finals will be played on Thursday.
