JAPANESE BOY LEADS OVER EDEN 

COURSE WITH A SIX-UNDER 64

Riki Kawamoto from Japan shot an excellent round of six-under-par 64 over the Eden Course to lead the qualifying round of the St Andrews U18 Boys' Open tournament.

In a truly international field of 144 players, Riki led by two from France's Maxime Leclere with Arkesh Bhatia (United Arab Emirates) sharing third place on 68 with Blairgowrie's Campbell Gibson.
