Well done to Cameron Bennie (Balmore) who won the championship at Dougalston Golf Club on Sunday 7^th August with a score of 78 in very difficult conditions due to the high wind.

 

A field of 28 competitors, including newly crowned Scottish Amateur Champion, George Duncan (Windyhill), all struggled to master the conditions.  George is pictured below.
 The top 16 qualifiers go forward to the match play championship at Dougalston starting on Monday 15^th August.
